Thithi right now: 3Thrithiyai(4hr 29min remaining). (Paksham right now: Waning/Dark = Krishna Paksham = Thei Pirai.) Nakshatram right now: 18Kettai (Jyesta)(24hr 39min remaining). Yogam right now: Variyaan(30min remaining). Karanam right now: Vishti (Bhadram)(4hr 29min remaining).
The Ganesh for Thrithiyaithithi (which is the thithi at this moment) is Lord Sri Bakthi Ganapathi who is pictured above.
Chant the name "Bakthi Ganapathi" throughout Thrithiyai thithi
Chant the name Bakthi Ganapathi while worshipping any Ganapathi form during Thrithiyaithithi. With love and devotion, say: Om Sri Bakthi Ganapathayey Namaha or Om Sri Bakthi Ganapathiyey Potri , (which mean "Ohm Salutations to Sri Bakthi Ganapati") while worshipping Lord Ganesh any time during this Thrithiyai thithi time period. Chanting it 108 times is a good idea. More is better, of course.
Why should you do this?
Daily Ganesh Significance
Siddha Sathguru Venkataraman conveyed to us the importance of Daily Ganesh worship by quoting Maha Guru Agasthiar who said: "Whichever form of Lord Ganesh you see, wherever you may be, if you worship that Ganesh form by saying the specific Ganesha name for the thithi at that moment, Lord Ganesh will bless you blissfully." Why is this so? This is so because the Yoga of Time begins with Lord Ganesh. More on this in our 'Yoga of Time' video below. Daily Ganesh SIGNIFICANCE. திதிப் பிள்ளையார் வழிபாடு மகத்துவம்.
Om Ganesa, Hari Ganesa, Shree Ganesha, Jaya Ganesha... pahimaam, rakshamaam (recorded in the year 1986).
What is Daily Ganesh Worship?
Agasthiar's Daily Ganesh given to us by Sathguru Venkataraman
"Daily Ganesh" worship = The Daily "Thithi Ganapathi" Worship Procedure of Maha Guru Agasthiar's Siddha Guru Parampara Lineage given to us by Siddha Sathguru Venkataraman. This is the worship of 'that' Lord Ganesha who is the Lord of today's Thithi. To be more precise, this is the worship of 'that' Lord Ganesha who is the Lord of the Thithi of the current moment. A few other time elements, such as today's Nakshatra, Vaaram, Yogam and Karanam, are also involved in this worship. These are computed at the moment you visit this page and their values are listed above. (Daily Ganesh - 'narrow' mobile view - example - 235 x 516 pixels2.)
Start your day with Daily Ganesh
Start your day by visiting this page and worship Sri Ganapathi in accordance with this Siddha way of Maha Guru Sri Agasthiar. This is a great way to start each and every day. And the darshan of Daily Ganesh is a great way to complete your day too. But since the thithi may change in the middle of the day (see "time remaining" above), you may want to visit this page more often. Before you start any project or anything new, visit this page and worship Daily Ganesh in this website of Maha Guru Sri Agasthiar. Chant the Daily Ganesh name mentioned above with pure heart and mind and request Lord Sri Ganesh to bless you with what is "really" good for you, not what you "think" is good for you.
Gratitude
This thithi Ganapathi worship procedure is due to Maha Guru Sri Agasthiar who is also pictured above on this page. This Siddha method of Daily Ganesh worship was revealed to Sathguru Venkataraman by his divine Siddha teacher Sri Idiyaapa Eesa Siddha. Sathguru Venkataraman worked with an artist to create the tithi Ganapathi pictures that are featured on this page.
108 Ganpati Special Darshan! "Eye + Mouth" Daily Practice!
108 GANESHA Special Darshan. MUST SEE! These are darshan photos of 108 Ganesha deity forms in ancient sacred spaces. Ask yourself... Are you going to visit all these ancient sacred spaces? Probably not. So at least, get this "108 Ganesha Darshan" daily and chant the name of the Ganesh for the current thithi with each darshan photo in this 108 Ganapathi Darshan set. In this way, the eye can do its job by getting the divine darshan and the mouth can do its job by chanting the appropriate divine name. This "eye + mouth" daily practice is strongly suggested for all people.

Every Chathurthi thithi day is a special day for Ganesh worship. Special worship of Lord Ganesha on every Chathurthi thithi is one of the great blessings of this human life.
The Chathurthi thithi day occurs once every 14.75 days. Thus there are a total of 24 (or sometimes 25) Chathurthi thithi days that occur each year. Of these, the Ganesh Chathurthi Day is the most important.
That the Chathurthi thithi is special for Lord Ganesh worship is reasonably well known. What is not well known is that the Chathurdasi thithi is also special for the worship of Lord Ganesh. This is one of the Siddha secrets given to us by Siddha Sathguru Venkataraman.
Ganesh Chathurthi Time Span for 2023 19 September 2023
(18 Sep 2023 in some parts of the world) INDIA: from 12:40 pm IST Sep 18, 2023 to 1:43 pm IST Sep 19, 2023. CALIFORNIA: from 0:10 am PDT Sep 18, 2023 to 1:13 am PDT Sep 19, 2023. OTHER TIMEZONES: Refer to the Agasthiar Spiritual Calendar for your timezone.
When to celebrate Ganesh Chathurthi
Celebrate Ganesh Chathurthi on the morning of September 19, 2023 in India. Halfway around the globe in California, celebrate Ganesh Chathurthi on the morning of September 18, 2023.
Group worship: As a group of people, sit in front of the Ganesha deity form and chant all the Ganesh Hymns, slokas, stotras and bhajans that you know. Bliss Ganesh.
Of course, do alankar (decoration) of the clay Ganesh deity form that you bought just for Ganesh Chathurthi. Cave Ganesh.
Since you can't do abishekam (bathing the deity with several sacred liquids) of the clay deity form of Ganesha, do abhishekam to the Ganesh deity form made of stone or metal that is in your home shrine. Cave Ganesh.
Offer garlands made of flowers to all Vinayaka deity forms.
Do archana (offering of flowers with every divine name chanted) of Ganesha deity forms.
Do Ganesh Homam Fire Ceremony as described in Sathguru Venkataraman's book on easy homam procedures.
Do neivedya (food offering) of many delicious dishes and fruits to Lord Ganesha; distribute the same to the poor.
Visit Ganesha shrines and temples and worship therein.
(Those who are not fortunate enough to live in the sacred land of Bharata (India), should at the very least get the 108 Ganesha Darshan and chant Ganesh Mantras with every one of these darshans. They should beg and plead with Lord Ganesh that He should give them the great blessing of living a 'dharmic life' in the Bharata sacred land of Siddhas and Maharishis.)
Try to do 108 "thoppukaranam" in front of Ganesha deity forms.
In short, spend the entire Ganesh Chaturti time period in various Ganapathi worship procedures.
