Acivs 2005 Conference program

This information is preliminary and can be changed without notice

Acivs 2005 is a conference focusing on techniques for building adaptive, intelligent, safe and secure imaging systems. Acivs 2005 consists of four days of lecture sessions, both regular (25 mns) and invited presentations and two poster sessions. To ensure a large audience for each oral presentation or poster, there will be no parallel sessions.

Acivs 2005 also features a social program consisting of a conference dinner and other social activities.

Topics

Some of the topics covered by this year's conference are:

Acivs 2005 will feature a number of invited speakers: Fernando Pereira (Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisboa, Portugal); Rafael Molina (Universidad de Granada, Spain); Marc Op de Beeck (Philips research, Eindhoven, the Netherlands).

Statistics

200 papers were submitted to Acivs 2005, which is a significant increase over last year's number (110). More than 200 reviewers were involved in the review process. In the end 91 papers were accepted for presentation (as posters or oral presentations).

The papers will be published in the "Lecture Notes on Computer Science" series.
