Ambleside has built many of the top audio video systems in the Bay area. We have recieved numerous awards for our engineering and documentation.  We offer design and engineering services, along with control system programming for homes and businesses updating legacy Crestron and AMX systems or building new iPad/Android based network centric systems.

75 years ago Louis (the nebishy one on the left - not Gene Autry), founder Aaron Rosenbaum’s great grandfather, opened his first movie theatre. The Princess and the Ritz, then later the Shoals and others, were the places to take the family, to relax on a hot summer night, in cool air-conditioning all while surrounded by beautiful decor.

Our first love is making movies look and sound great. At home everyone can enjoy pictures and sound clearer than any local theatre; children can stretch out on the floor (even play under the screen like you used to at the drive-in) or have their friends over for a sleep over. The seats are like nothing you have ever experienced at local theatres.

Next, Ambleside brings audio to everyplace in the house; the news or music in the shower in the morning, quiet – or loud – music while cooking with family; music outside and inside during a party; dancing music in the family room after the children are asleep.  

Ambleside makes it easier to come home at night, safer in the middle of the night, and can greatly enhance the beauty of the home through the management of the lighting.
