Babysitting movies have never been cool… until now! Director David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express, TV’s East Bound and Down) brings us the red band trailer for his new movie The Sitter – “the filthiest R-rated babysitting movie ever made!” Complete with side-splittingly inappropriate intro by Jonah Hill (Super Bad, Get Him to the Greek), this trailer certainly doesn’t pull any punches.

Jonah Hill plays a college student on suspension who is coaxed into babysitting three bratty kids. As fate would have it, on the night he has to babysit the hot girl he likes decides she’s drunk enough to have sex with him. Babysit the kids or have sex with the girl? A difficult choice, I know.

Enjoy!

After his misstep with Your Highness, David Gordon Green looks like he’s back to his foul-mouthed best, and the film looks very much like it’s going to be in the style of Pineapple Express – where there’s a fair bit of action to compliment the comedy. I’m a huge Jonah Hill fan and his comic timing looks as impeccable as always. And as if that wasn’t good enough, one of my favourite actors Sam Rockwell‘s in it too!

Ok, we know this film won’t be perfect but, from the trailer, you know exactly what you’re gonna get – and my funny bone’s already telling me that this will be a seriously good night out. Besides, any film that has Jonah Hill dressing-down a child by saying “I f**kin’ hate you too. I’ll destroy you” has got to be worth the price of admission.

When the world’s most irresponsible babysitter takes three of the world’s worst kids on an unforgettable overnight adventure through the streets of New York City, it’s anyone’s guess who’s going to make it home in one piece.

Directed by David Gordon Green, The Sitter stars Jonah Hill, Sam Rockwell (Moon, Matchstick Men), Ari Graynor (Whip It), JB Smoove, Method Man, Erin Daniels and Jessica Hecht (Sideways)

The Sitter expletes its way onto our screens on 8 December, before its US release on 9 December – f**k yeah!

What do you think of the trailer? Are you a Jonah Hill fan? What’s you favourite David Gordon Green film?
