Interior Design

Amber Interiors is a full-service design firm reviewing high-end new build, gut renovation, and comprehensive furnishing and decor projects in both the residential and boutique commercial spaces. Our mission is to approach each project holistically with a commitment to design spaces that are a true reflection of the clients living in them.

We turn houses into homes, and our California-inspired, eclectic design aesthetic is ever-evolving and always inspired. Our firm is involved in all aspects of its projects from start to finish. We collaborate closely with architects and builders from the early conceptual phases all the way through construction, overseeing the selection of materials, fixtures, finishes, and finally the sourcing, procurement, and installation of furnishings and decor. We’ll transform any space, keeping a keen eye on the details that make it functional, beautiful, and truly one-of-a-kind.

We welcome all full-service project inquiries, both local and long-distance. While based in Los Angeles, our team services projects all over the United States, from California to New York, Texas to Montana, and many places in between.

Our Team

Amber Lewis, Principal Designer and Founder

Amber Interior Design is a California-based interior design studio created by Amber Lewis. With vast experience in residential and commercial projects, her multi-faceted approach to design has garnered her clients far and wide who seek to create aspirational yet functional spaces that celebrate heritage-inspired concepts built to stand the test of time.

Amber celebrates classic design concepts in her projects. She is recognized for her ability to seamlessly layer eclectic and vintage furniture pieces, found textiles, and natural design elements that result in livable and elevated environments. Amber’s aesthetic transcends the boundaries of traditional design and aims to immerse her clients into a world that feels current, approachable, and timeless.

In addition to the design firm, Amber is the owner of a burgeoning retail outlet, Shoppe Amber Interiors, author of two best-selling interior design books, Made for Living and Call It Home, and creator of the editorial site, All Sorts Of. Amber’s content-first philosophy in the social media sphere has enabled her to grow a community of individuals from around the world who value her unique aesthetics as a tastemaker in design, fashion, and style.

Outside of her robust interior design portfolio, Amber has collaborated with a multitude of brands to design original collections with Anthropologie, Loloi, Four Hands, Visual Comfort, and Etsy. Spanning the categories of furniture, accessories, art, lighting, bedding, rugs, pillows, and more, Amber’s affinity for eye-catching details and distinctive forms is showcased in her partnerships, making her aspirational designs available to everyone and solidifying her status as a household name.

Morgan Wallach, Lead Designer

Morgan, or ‘Mo,’ as she’s better known, hails from New York and initially moved west for her career in luxury hotel design. She brings over 10 years experience in the interior design industry, across both hospitality and residential projects. With ample experience in developing beautiful spaces, her considered approach to cozy and unique homes makes her an integral part of the design team. Mo has been with Amber Interiors for eight years, leading a team of talented designers from concept to completion of a project, bringing the Amber Interiors Design vision to life. She has a keen attention to detail and thrives in a creative and collaborative environment.

Briyana Warden, Lead Designer

A native Angeleno, Briyana began her career leading designs for hospitality groups in California, spanning restaurants and cafes to concert venues and corporate offices. Her passion for design transitioned to the world of luxury residential where she thoughtfully brings creative and unique ideas and details to each space. After six years with Amber Interiors, Briyana has been lead designer on over 20 projects with the company. She is passionate about leading projects from start to finish, working hand in hand with architects, contractors, and trades throughout the entirety of the project. Bringing over a decade of experience across residential and hospitality design, Briyana is committed to creating beautiful spaces that stay true to the aesthetic for which Amber Interiors is world renowned.

Lauren Stern, Director of Design Operations

As Director of Design Operations at Amber Interiors, Lauren oversees operational strategy, new business acquisitions, purchasing, and the creation of processes that maximize the company’s performance, efficiency, and overall growth. With over ten years of experience leading teams in operational management in the fields of architecture and design, Lauren is central to the development of long-term, practical systems and works closely with ownership, senior management, and design teams to achieve both the creative and financial objectives of the company. Her collaborative approach to the business side of the design process has been a key contributor to the successful execution of the firm’s large-scale design-build projects and, most importantly, the satisfaction of its clients.

Andie Riedel, Director of Brand Partnerships

As the Director of Brand Partnerships at Amber Interiors, Andie plays a key role in the development and amplification of the brand across channels, building and executing partnerships, overseeing All Sorts Of, and managing all aspects of the Amber Lewis brand. Prior to joining Amber Interiors, she has over 14 years of experience in developing strategic partnerships, embracing and building brand voices, crafting social media strategy, and executing media relations, having held leadership positions both in-house and at public relations agencies. An enthusiastic communicator, Andie is committed to building and maintaining strong relationships with partners and internal team members and works collaboratively with the AID and Shoppe Amber Interiors teams. She is passionate about finding opportunities for growth, and managing the lifecycle of all co-branded partnerships and campaigns.
