Mel Blanc-Speechless
« on: December 13, 2010, 06:20:56 AM »
Roughly 10 to 15 years ago we here in the UK had our first openings of Disney stores, and i remember being fascinated with the framed prints that you could buy.
The only one i was ever tempted to buy was "Speechless",have these prints become more desirable and expensive or,(due to the large numbers they must have printed) only fit for the bin?

Great piece, Stew.
I don't remember this print being for sale here in the States, but I did get a copy of it from Variety, where it ran as a two-page memorial.
Very touching and fitting.
What are the print dimensions?

Im not sure Brude, although they where quite a sizable framed item, you could easily hang it over the fireplace and it would look great.
I didnt buy at the time but i have been on the lookout ever since, i was literally left speechless at how poignant and respectful the print was.

That is a first rate print, an excellent homage to a great man. Can you remember how much it was Stew?

Paul, at the time im sure it was a couple of hundred. It was a limited run of again a few hundred, but i assumed that was per store, obviously i was wrong.
