6 solo CDs released – Brazilian Ballads (1996), Caldo de Cana (2000), David Ganc and Guerra Peixe String Quartet interpret Tom Jobim (2004), nominated for the 2005 TIM Prize, Pixinguinha + Benedito (2005) with Mário Sève, Nocturne – David Ganc plays the chamber music of Nivaldo Ornelas (2016) and Encounter (2019) with the Duo Ganc Adour.

Co-author of the books / CDs “Choro Duetos – Pixinguinha and Benedito Lacerda Vol. 1 and Vol. 2”, printed by Ed. Irmãos Vitale (2010/2011), with their transcriptions of the counterpoints of these masters.

Ganc takes part in several collections that bring together the greatest exponents of the flute in Brazil as; “Brazilian Contemporary Breath”, “The Bambas of the Flute”, “Sounds of Brazil”, and in the CD “Symphonic Pixinguinha”.

He has produced / co-produced 20 CDs and as a studio musician and has recorded more than 200 albums of instrumental music and MPB artists such as: Caetano Veloso, Gal Costa, Paulo Moura, Luís Melodia, Nivaldo Ornelas, Moraes Moreira, Alcione, Beto Guedes, João Bosco, Elba Ramalho, Cassia Eller, Bibi Ferreira and others.

He participated in three editions of Free Jazz Festival RJ and SP: 1995 (Stevie Wonder), 1999 (Vittor Santos Orchestra), and in 2001 (The Temptations).

Ganc has played in many countries such as USA, France, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Mexico, Uruguay, Angola, Israel and Switzerland. He performed at the Mellon Jazz Festival 2001 in Pittsburgh at the “Tones of Nature” concert, a tribute to Tom Jobim, created by Flavio Chamis. In 2003, he was invited to do the Caldo de Cana Tour in New Orleans, promoting his CD.

In 2004, he participated in the Choro Sax Brasil tour with shows and workshops at five universities in the United States: University of Notre Dame, Indiana State University, University of Kentucky, Duke University and an outdoor show in Madison-WI. The tour was sponsored by the Kellogg Institute.

He was artistic the director of the Pro Arte 50 year concert, in the Cecilia Meireles Hall – RJ, 2007.

His brainchild, the project “MBP solo, with strings?” with the Guerra Peixe String Quartet was presented at the Caixa Econômica Theater in Brasilia and in the Brazilian Embassy in Paraguay in 2008. He was a guest artist of MIMO Festival 11/2015 – RJ .

As an arranger Ganc have more than 90 more arrangements recorded in CDs. In 2018  the WDR Big Band from Cologne, Germany commissioned to Ganc an arranging for a live concert. He regularly records for TV, film and theater soundtracks.
