LINCOLN, Neb. - Wichita State finished tied for 11^th at the 2011 Chip-N Club Invitational hosted by the University of Nebraska.  The Shockers tied with Sam Houston State with a 54-hole score of 968.  Junior Gretchen Huhnerkoch finished tied for 11^th with a score of 230 to lead WSU.

Natalie Samb finished with a 54-hole score of 242 to finish tied for 35^th and Hollie Weatherburn carded a 54-hole score of 244 to finish in a tie for 42^nd in her first tournament as a Shocker.

Freshman Veronica Diaz finished tied for 64^th with a 54-hole score of 255 in her first collegiate tournament.

WSU will return to action on Monday, Sept. 26 when they travel to the 2011 Marilynn Smith Invitational hosted by Kansas State at the Colbert Hills Golf Club in Manhattan.
