The Wacom Movink is a portable pen-input tablet aimed for digital artists and creative professionals that is based on a 13.3" 1920x001080 AMOLED display (produced by Samsung Display), a super-slim and ultra-light design. The Movink is Wacom's thinnest and lightest pen display.

The Wacom Movink is now shipping for $749.

New OLED gadget: Honor 200 Lite

The Honor 200 Lite mid-range smartphone offers a 6.7" 1080x2412 AMOLED display, a Mediatek Dimensity 6080 chipset, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

The Honor 200 Lite will ship in early May 2024, for around $370.

OLEDWorks confirms it is supplying the OLED lighting panels for Audi's 2024 Q8 SUV

In 2023, Audi unveiled the 2024 Q8 and SQ8 SUVs, which sports optional OLED taillights, similar to the ones used in the 2022 Audi A8. We assumed that the OLED panels were supplied OLEDWorks, and the company indeed formally confirmed that the 2024 A8 uses its Atala OLED technology.

The Q8 uses Audi's first-gen design, as it was in the 2022 A8. A total of six panels—each less than one millimeter thick—span the rear of the car. One panel occupies each of the left and right bodyside lamps, and four panels span the continuous inner tailgate lamp. Every panel contains six high-contrast segments that are individually addressable via software control.

New OLED gadget: Infinix GT 20 Pro

The Infinix GT 20 Pro gaming smartphone offers a 6.78" 144Hz 1080x2436 1300 nits flexible AMOLED display, a Mediatek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage and a microSDXC memory slot.

The phone has a special ESports mode for "zero interruption during gaming", to give it a similar performance to gaming consoles. The Infinix GT 20 Pro is now shipping starting at around $275.

Reports suggest that Nintendo has already finished developing the OLED version of the Switch 2 gaming console

In October 2021, Nintendo launched its first OLED gaming console, the Nintendo Switch OLED. The new OLED device is popular - eight months after the launch Nintendo announced it shipped over 5.8 million devices, and earlier this month the company announced it has sold over 7 million Nintendo Switch OLED devices in Japan alone.

In early 2024, we heard that Nintendo is working on its next-generation console that will replace the Switch and Switch OLED devices, which will utilize an 8" LCD display (produced by Sharp). This was a disappointment - especially as people seem to love the OLED display. But according to a new report, Nintendo has already finished the development of a Switch 2 OLED device, that will released shortly after the LCD model is launched (perhaps even still in 2024). The OLED, as in the original Switch OLED device, will be produced by Samsung Display.

New OLED gadget: Huawei Pura 70 / Pura 70 Pro / Pura 70 Pro+ / Pura 70 Ultimate

Huawei's Pura 70 smartphone family use LTPO AMOLED displays on all models. The Pura 70 offers a 6.6" 2500 nits 120Hz 1256x2760 LTPO AMOLED, a Kirin 9010 chipset, up to 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The Pura 70 Pro has a larger 6.8" 2500 nits 120Hz 1260x2844 LTPO AMOLED, and similar processor and memory options.

The Pura 70 Pro+ and the Pura 70 Ultra have the same screen (and chipset) as the Pura 70 Pro, but stronger specifications.

New OLED gadget: Vivo IQOO Z9 Turbo / Z9 (China)

Vivo's IQOO Z9 Turbo and the new Z9 phone (sold in China only, not to be confused with the Z9 launched internationally earlier this year) both use the same display, a 6.78" 144Hz 4500 nits (peak) 1260x2800 AMOLED display, produced by TCL CSoT.

The Z9 Turbo offers a Snapdrgagon 8s Gen 3 chipset, up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. The Z9 (Chinese market) has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. Both phones will ship on April 29.
