U.S. Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Takes Initial Step to Update Registration Process
Last week, the FMCSA submitted a formal request to the Office of Management and Budget, seeking approval for a new collection request. Once approved, the proposed FMCSA Registration system (FRS) will replace the current Unified Registration System (URS) for nearly all stakeholders in the domestic commercial transportation industry.
