Brooke began singing professionally onstage at age 11, and while winning the Miss Teen Talent Alaska title, she caught the eye of Close Encounters of the Funkiest Kind breakdancer-turned-Club Nouveau record producer Mr. Jay King, who cast her as the opening act for visiting celebrities The Pointer Sisters and Doc Severinsen.

The summer before her first year in high school, Brooke moved to California, soon appearing on episodes of Junior Star Search and Star Search with Ed McMahon. Theatre Director Gary Krinke saw something in shy little Brooke, casting her as Dorothy in The Wiz. It was a moment that would change the 15 year old’s life forever. After graduation, Brooke continued her passion for musicals, spending her earlier adult years portraying lead roles in shows ranging from Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes to Eva Peron in Evita. Her most interesting role would be three decades later, starring as herself in a Memoir Musical she self-produced under the direction of MD to the Stars, Mr. Todd Schroeder. Her life story took place onstage at the Colony Theatre in Burbank, CA., and is set to expand in her upcoming written autobio, Sing Spank Scrub.)

Brooke’s various accolades for her own original music include two LA Music Award winning albums (The Vanilla Life & A Fruitcake Year) which she co-produced and wrote with Matt Waldrum. She received the Puerto Rico International Film Festival Music Video award for their song and her music short, The Mermaid Diaries. On television, Brooke has sung the National Anthem for the LA Lakers and the Mighty Ducks, while also winning the grand prize on Don’t Forget the Lyrics hosted by Mark McGrath.

Some of Brooke’s recording session work include jingles produced by Jason Freese for Kawasaki, and a Ford Motor Company spot composed by Herman Beeftink. A favorite studio highlight was creating character voices alongside friend April Malina for their Liza/Judy duet on RuPaul’s Drag Race. Brooke also did session work for Roseanne,The Gilmore Girls, bumpers for the AVN Awards, and created original character vocals for NOFX’s Fat Mike and his Home Street Home concept and cast albums. Brooke recorded vocals for film composer Joseph Bishara’s Devils Playground soundtrack, sang with and casted the Christmas caroler vocalists for the Mel Gibson film FatMan, and provided operatic vocals for Showtime’s Embrace the Darkness vampire series. She also created a Bettie Boop style vocal for the award winning song, Shedonistic Society. However, Brooke’s most unique studio memory to date was when she was invited to a Disney recording session by her friend Scott Dreier, where they inhaled helium together until they were in a giggling stupor, all to sing harmonies as bumble bees for the very popular Winnie the Pooh sing-a-long video.

As a contract performer for over two decades, Brooke became well-known to fans at The Happiest Place on Earth through the many stage shows she starred in there. After spending time as a Main Street Dickens Caroler, she then performed in various Disneyland productions such as The 40th Anniversary Show, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Animazement, before eventually producing, managing and performing in her own rock groups at the world famous Tomorrowland Terrace. She created and managed The Antix, Diva Trip, Brooke & The Boyz, Stellar, Smith & Wilkes and The Suffragettes bands all by request of her longtime Mentor, Mr. Stan Freese, who was Disneyland’s Music & Entertainment Director for 40 years.

After spending nearly two decades managing and contracting singers and musicians for various musical groups in Southern California, Brooke now calls Las Vegas her home. Her Sin City credits include Mondays Dark, the Kelly Clinton & Friends shows at The Stirling Club and Nevada Showroom, the Silver Sevens Casino, Maxan Jazz, The Dispensary Lounge, Harrah’s Carnival Court, Cleopatra’s Barge and opening for Vanessa Williams at Caesars Palace, warming up the crowd for Kristine W. at the Luxor, and ongoing guest appearances at Kenny Davidsen’s very popular local celebrity sit-in, The Bowtie Cabaret located at The Tuscany Suites.
