I came to Andino's for lunch on the hill and valet was a huge bonus considering it was the weekend, rainy, and busy. They parked my vehicle right away and I was able to get quick service at the bar.
They give you complimentary bread with olive oil and balsamic. For an appetizer, I got the fried mozzarella. It came with 4 thick mozzarella triangles and a delicious crispy breading. I would suggest asking for extra marinara sauce on the sauce, it was so good! For an entree, I ordered chicken franchise - a good piece of chicken but the sauce was very thin and too much lemon. My boyfriend's dish stole the show, he got Chicken Parmesan in a pink vodka sauce. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy in the middle with a delicious pink vodka sauce smothered with cheese on top. The pink vodka sauce had a nice creamy texture and great flavor.
The restaurant gave throwback Italian vibes - I'll definitely be back!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - John M.Plymouth, MA08Dec 2, 2023
We visited Andinos on the night after Thanksgiving. We had a lovely waitress, and the atmosphere was old-school Italian and very inviting.
My wife had the chicken Parm, and it was excellent and I had the Veal Saltimbocca and it was delicious and an abundant serving to boot- we both couldn't finish our meals and got to enjoy again over the weekend
The drinks were great as was the whole evening. It could not have been better
We've been there several times and plan to return oftenHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

We ordered takeout as I wanted to treat my office to a nice lunch. I had the shrimp fra diavolo. Noodles were ok and the sauce had some spice to it. But they literally put in 3 shrimp into the dish . Hard to get repeat customers when you overcharge and under deliver.
Also can't give more than 3 stars for food I could probably make just as well at home.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 1Business owner information

Sorry to hear about your experience Alfred and thank you for your opinion. We certainly do not overcharge....We have had the same prices since before covid while everyone else increased their prices on this street. We have many repeat customers which is why we have been around for over 40 years. Hope to see you again in the future!

I had one day to explore Providence, RI and was told I must check out an Italian eatery. Andino's did not disappoint on food or experience. Originally made a reservation but due to a slight change in plans, walked in and was able to grab a spot at the bar. Bartenders were authentic and super helpful, talking me through the menu. Restaurant had a lot of character showcasing Italian roots from the Frank Sinatra playlists, to photos on the wall of famous mobsters and Italian American icons. The eclectic mix of locals and tourists waiting to get a bite to eat proved how delicious the food and drink were. If I find myself back in RI, I will be making a stop.

Great traditional Italian food. Reasonable prices and good portion size. They have valet parking which is great for a busy Saturday. I had the veal Marsala. Excellent sauce and the veal was very tender.

Been to Andino's a few times
The food is superb, everything is made in house con amore
The service is great!
The ambiance is nice and relaxing and upscale-ish
They have an extensive menu with a variety of different kinds of dishes, pastas, insalata, carne e pesce e everything in between.
The food is really what shines at this restaurant
I had the stuffed mushrooms which was delicious
Followed by some fresh oysters and then finally the meat lasagna which was absolutely delicious and the size of the lasagna could've served a table of 2 perhaps 3 people.
All in all I've always had a great time at Andino's
I will definitely return to Italian food paradise
Bravo bravo

I cannot begin to express how good this place is. Amazing food, highly recommend the ravioli and the calamari. The service was wonderful. Kudos to Stephanie!! Was the best. Get ready to struggle with some parking since this sits in Federal Hill which has a lot of traffic. But Andino's has complimentary valet so you are good. Lovely atmosphere; whether casual or romantic, this is the spot!

THANK YOU SO MUCH CHRISTINA!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nov 20, 2021Previous reviewI can't believe this is my first time reviewing. This has been my all time favorite restaurant on the hill for years- and when we come to the hill it is the only place I go.
It is unfortunate now they do not have valet- sign of the times with labor shortages. They do have a lot of the corner- but assuming at night parking here would be difficult at best. We came for lunch.
Our waitress was exceptional. Girls wanted plain fried ravioli not spicy - and they adjusted and accommodated. Drinks were amazing.
Consistency is key. Every single time I've been here- and honestly this is around the 20th time- the food is k on point. We have brought friends and family here.
Keep it up. In this area a restaurant needs to set itself apart - and andinos continuously exceeds our expectations. - Mike F.New York, NY561661302Sep 8, 2023

We were seated next to very loud table so it made the experience really not enjoyable to the point that we wanted to leave as soon as possible.
The menu was okay. I had the clam sauce linguine which kind of lacked flavor. They got my husband's order wrong. We wanted scrod instead of shrimp but because we already waited a bit for the food and it was so noisy (the server also encouraged us to try the shrimp since scrod would take 20 mins). It tasted fine, nothing too exciting.
Our server was nice but when we were about to leave, I overheard him telling another table about specials which he never told us about. Overall, underwhelming for us, will not be returning.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Business owner information

Thank you for your review Cathy. I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy your experience. The restaurant is very small so it does get noisy at times especially on a Saturday night. The food not being correct and lacking flavor is on us. I will be speaking to my waitstaff about this incident.
