Pedro Acosta is to move up to the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team for the 2025 season, and race there for the next two seasons. Today, KTM announced that the Spanish rookie is to move up to the factory team for next season, taking the place of Jack Miller.
The news is hardly a surprise. Acosta has been sensational since he arrived in MotoGP, far outperforming already very high expectations. He has also outperformed all of the other KTM riders on multiple occasions, and taken to MotoGP like a duck to water.
Though the press release does not mention the length of the contract, stating only that it will extend "beyond 2025", it is safe to assume that Acosta will have a two-year deal with KTM, with the Austrian factory seeking to retain his services for as long as possible.
