The ASA is a not-for-profit organisation formed in 2004 and dedicated to bringing new opportunities to young musicians of Australia, and to enriching the music community and cultural life in both Australia and abroad. Our flagship event, the international
ASA Summer School, provides unparalleled opportunities for young string players and pianists from Australia and abroad.
Over the 15-day Summer School students playing the violin, viola, cello, double bass and piano are inspired under the direction of world class tutors. The daily schedule includes one-to-one lessons, master classes and workshops, lectures and seminars, concerts, solo performance opportunities, and world class chamber music coaching.
The ASA has also expanded its scope of programs during the year and has an exciting vision for the future with an aim to establish a legacy for developing and equipping generations of future Australian musicians.
